I love love love Melissa's super easy & super pretty take on smokey eyes over at Bubby and Bean, as well as her five awesome tips on beating the winter blues and staying motivated!

Pink hot chocolate? This recipe for red velvet hot chocolate over at A Beautiful Mess looks delicious.

Elizabeth from Delightfully Tacky shared an adorable tutorial to make polka dot shorts that I need to try.

I thought Kaelah's piece on our generation's obsession with staying connected. I'm desperately trying to put my phone down more often at the moment.

Elizabeth from over at Please Note shared the loveliest Valentine's DIY that I think is pretty darn cute all year round.
The lovely ladies at She Dressed in Black shared the pretty stripy mirror they painted for their hallway. Cute!

Can't even tell you how much I love Meghan's chevron stripe fridge! I've never seen a fridge so awesome.

I've been entirely devoted to statement curls ever since I discovered this No Heat Curls tutorial over at The Paper Mama.

Chelsea's piece on being a girl on fire and making an effort to better yourself was amazing, such a good read.

Happy Saturday, you lovely lot. I'm always content & careless come Saturday afternoon; my work week is over and I'm especially perky because tomorrow I'll be heading off to see Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds ♥

How do you feel about meeting some lovely ladies today? A few of my sponsors have shared their answers to a fun few questions! You need to meet these girls, you'll love them instantaneously!


Well first off, I make myself a cup of Genmaicha tea (Davids Tea is the only kind I drink...it's turned me into a tea snob) I will then either sit down with a good book or open my laptop and start reading blogs...blog reading always cheers me up! Finding inspiration online is one of my most favourite things! Oh a bag of salt & vinegar Lays would just be the cherry on top ;)

I'd say shoes...gosh, I've really started noticing lately just how often I blog about shoes. Haha, I'm obsessed, what can I say?

I found this lovely blog called Pandora. She's so beautiful and has such lovely photos to look at! I also love love love her sense of style...amazing.



The first thing we do when we need cheering up is grab a cup of Rose Tea (or a cocktail!), stick on a great old record and dance around the studio like fools.

Our favourite thing to blog about is our lives, Twee Towers and working on our collection! We love that blogging makes us strive to be more creative and have more fun in every aspect of our lives.

We just discovered The Rose Petal Deer and we’ve got a little blog crush on her already! Such a cute blog, love the colour-scheme throughout and her lovely drawings too! Very sweet.



When I need cheering up I like to watch some of my old favorite shows on dvd, marathon style. Gilmore Girls and Charmed are my go-to shows as they are definitely guilty pleasures. :) I also like to drink something hot and comforting while I watch!

My favorite thing to blog about is what I make. I love looking at diy posts on other people's blogs and getting inspiration so I like to be able to contribute to the creative community we've got going on here too.

A blog I've fallen in love with this month would be freutcake. It's a beautiful blog full of stunning, well put together posts that feature food, drinks, outfits, and so much more. I definitely recommend checking it out!

old, new & thrifted

As much as I steer away from wearing jeans outside of work, sometimes I just want to put on an old pair of rips {that I couldn't fit in last year, I exclaim with delight!} and an equally old jumper while I'm sitting at my desk, typing away. Monday was one of those days. A day dedicated to refilling my biggest mug with tea several times, blogging and making time to really look at all of the websites that catch my eye in magazines and books and on twitter but never get looked up. I had a stinking cold {are the heavy eyes a giveaway?} so it was lovely to just curl my feet up and get a big fat to-do list ticked off.

I did find a waistcoat that my mumma found two years back for £4, and an old necklace that I made after a favourite bracelet snapped and I couldn't bare to abandon such pretty turquoise beads. They made me feel that little bit less like a slob ;)
